Riverton Town Days
Every year around the Fourth of July, the surrounding communities come alive with Riverton Town Days. Thousands of people fill the streets for the parade, spend time in the park playing games and visiting booths, and gather at night for fireworks. It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year because it gives us such a natural way to show up for our city.
We’re grateful for the relationship we have with Riverton, which has opened the door for us to serve in bigger ways each year. Along with Plant Cam (over 100 teens who travel in from churches across the country) we get to hand out thousands of free water bottles during the parade, host a table at the park, and help with things like parking and games. Simple ways to serve that make a real difference.
That’s what makes this week so special. It’s not just about helping run an event, it’s about loving our neighbors, building connections, and sharing the hope of Jesus in everyday moments. Riverton Town Days gives us a beautiful opportunity to serve together and bring the good news right into the heart of our community.
Charis Pregnancy Clinic
Charis Pregnancy Clinic serves women and families in our community with compassion, practical support, and hope by walking alongside those facing unexpected pregnancies and reminding them they are not alone. Their work is rooted in the belief that every life has value and deserves care.
There are always volunteer opportunities to help support Charis’s mission, whether through serving at events, offering administrative help, or simply being present to encourage others. It’s a meaningful way to love our neighbors and make a local impact.
Beauty From Ashes
Beauty From Ashes is a Christ-centered ministry bringing hope, healing, and restoration to women impacted by trauma, abuse, addiction, and exploitation. Through mentoring, support groups, outreach, and practical care, they walk alongside women and point them to the life-changing love of Jesus.
There are always opportunities to serve! Whether by helping with outreach efforts like Bags of Hope, writing encouragement notes, assisting at events, praying, or volunteering your time in other ways.
