What are Equip Classes?
Equip Classes are 30-minute classes held on Sundays before the worship service.
These classes are designed to equip the saints by offering practical ways to live out our faith, helping us grow in our walk with God, and providing both challenge and encouragement.
Classes are grouped by Younger Kids, Older Kids, Teens, and Adults so that everyone can learn, grow, and connect with others at the level that serves them best.
Current Studies
Parenting is one of the greatest responsibilities God gives us, and one of the most rewarding and challenging. In this Equip class, we’ll explore what the Bible teaches about raising, discipling, and loving our children in a way that points them to Christ.
Together, we’ll talk about practical ways to lead our families, establish biblical boundaries, navigate discipline, communicate well, and model a Christ-centered life in our homes. Whether you’re parenting young children, teenagers, or adult children, this class will encourage and equip you to pursue God’s design for your family.
What is Christianity really all about? Whether you’re curious about the Christian faith, new to following Jesus, or simply want to better understand what you believe, this class is a place to ask questions and explore the foundations of Christianity.
Together, we’ll look at who God is, who Jesus is, what the Bible teaches, why sin matters, what salvation means, and what it looks like to follow Christ. We’ll explore the core truths of the Christian faith in a welcoming and approachable environment where honest questions are encouraged.
Marriage is a beautiful gift from God, but building a strong, Christ-centered marriage takes intentionality, humility, and commitment. In this class, we look at God’s design for marriage and explore how Christ shapes the way we love, serve, grow and change together.
We’ll talk about practical ways to strengthen your relationship, grow in unity, navigate challenges, and keep Christ at the center of your marriage. Whether you’re newly married, have been married for decades, or simply want to grow in your understanding of God's design for marriage, this class will encourage and equip you to build a healthy, lasting marriage that reflects God’s love and purpose.
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. Throughout Scripture, we are given clear instructions for how we are to live in relationship with one another. Love one another, encourage one another, serve one another, forgive one another, bear with one another, and so much more.
In this Equip class, we’ll explore the many “one anothers” found throughout the Bible and discover what they teach us about living as the body of Christ. Together, we’ll consider what it looks like to put these commands into practice in our families, friendships, church, and everyday lives.
Following Jesus in your young adult years comes with unique opportunities, challenges, and questions. From friendships and dating to work, finances, purpose, social pressures, and making decisions about the future, everyday life can sometimes make it difficult to know what it looks like to live out your faith.
In this Equip class, we’ll talk honestly about faith, relationships, identity, work, decision-making, and the pressures of living for Christ in a culture that doesn’t always share our values. Come grow in your faith, ask honest questions, and learn how to follow Jesus faithfully in every area of everyday life.
Teen Class
The purpose of adapting a chapter of Dig Deeper into an Equip Class lesson is not simply to teach the chapter or read through its content together. The chapter should serve as a foundation and framework for developing a clear, engaging, and practical lesson.
Our desire is to equip the saints. We want to help people grow in their ability to understand, interpret, apply, and enjoy God's Word. We want people to leave the class with a deeper understanding of Scripture and greater confidence in studying the Bible for themselves. The goal is not simply to transfer information. We want to help people develop the skills and habits necessary to engage God's Word for themselves and to grow as disciples of Jesus.
Kid Class
Answers in Genesis ciriculum focuses on building a strong foundation on God’s Word starting right in the book of Genesis. Their lessons introduce children to the Bible as one unified story, teaching that God is the Creator, His Word is true, and salvation comes through Jesus. The curriculum also helps kids understand big questions about the world like creation, history, and God’s design in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and rooted in Scripture. This gives our youngest learners a solid, confidence building start in their faith.
